DriveCost – Privacy Policy

DriveCost (“the app”) is developed by Stipe Grbić. This policy explains what data the app collects and how it is used.

Data storage
All car and expense data you enter is stored locally on your device using SQLite. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly use the PDF export feature to share it.

AI Insights
When you use the AI Insights feature, a summary of your expense data (monthly totals, category breakdowns, and vehicle statistics — no personally identifiable information) is sent to Anthropic’s API to generate insights. No raw entries, names, or location data are transmitted. Anthropic’s data handling is governed by their privacy policy at anthropic.com.

Analytics and tracking
The app does not use any analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking frameworks. No usage data is collected or sent to the developer.

In-App Purchases
Subscription management is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. The developer does not have access to payment details.

Feedback
If you use the Send Feedback option, your email client will open a pre-addressed email. Any information you choose to include is sent directly to stipegrbic@hotmail.com and is not processed or stored automatically.
